Have you seen those quite enchanting hand gestures in Hindi gods and goddesses? They are called “Mudras” and are used to stimulate different points of our bodies to affect the flow of energy on it. Along with breathing techniques and chants they are spiritual gestures and energetic seals employed in the iconography and spiritual practice of Hindi religions and traditions of Dharma and Taoism. They are used in some relaxation and mind disciplines like Yoga, Ayurveda, Kundalini Yoga and  Reiki.

There are one hundred and eight mudras and not of all are related to the hands but the whole body. Every one of them has an specific “power” and  many of them are easy and some other needs some practice. Mudras are not just for religion purposes, they are able to help us in many ways like health, love, depression, mind, etc. Based on the principle that these gestures benefits blood torrents in our bodies, they can help to some  organs of our body and make them function in a best way. Some others are more related with the energy flow and help us with relaxation and mind strenght.
